I heard that Kane is adopting a kid to finish off his "ultimate" line as partt of gearing up for next saeson.....any truth to this?

I heard that some of the AP kids are goiong AA..

Most of the AP kids would be top notch in AA...maybe even a couople in AAA

How far did they get in the Buss tournament? I thought so, AAA you're kidding, right.

Let's be fair. Both Kane's kids could play AA along with the AP captain. So Kane should do the right thing, pack up his tent, and sashay into the sunset with his boys to the promise land of AA.

Turns out there are pllleeeeenntttyyyy of spots on this team. If your kid played on a playiff AAA team he might make the third line. But since he will be playing for the best coaching crew in the country, it will be worth it.

That is if the Leafs don't snag Kane first.

I wish the Applewood Assoc. would take Kane out of Coaching before one of his players seriously injuries another kid.

The way he teaches his team to play should not be allowed by any association. This is sports and it is suppose to be fun. You should not have 10 year old kids intentionally trying to injure other players.I hope the MHL is watch this clown Kane very closely as he is a complete idiot and has displayed this for every season he has coached.

Drop it... it is a tired thread. AP just a bunch 10-11 year old kids having fun playing hockey with dads coaching the team. All the rest is just bored people stirring up s**t.

Yes... just a bunch of Dads.... teaching the kids goon hockey at it's best.

Like I said... all this goon hockey business is just bored parents stirring up s&&t over "A" hockey. My kid doesn't play on AP, but once did. AP coaches and players are undistinguishable from the other 7 teams.

Since we are now in our third year of this crap, why don't we lay it to rest. AP coaches and parents are no different than the coaches and parents on your team. Your kids have been in minor hockey 6-7 years now. Don't you guys get bored trotting out this juvenile stuff?

AP will have a litte better team this year; other teams are a little better, some are a little worse. I really don't see the benefit of making up a bunch of stuff about volunteer coaches. You guys had your laugh, but why not go infest another thread?

They aren't "high and mighty" volunteers... just dads trying to spend some time with their kids, build some bonds, and create some memories.

My kid was on that bench and the whole thing is just a fabrication.

There are some very nice families involved in AP, including the families of both coaches. My kid didn't "escape" just happens to be playing for a different team now. Also a great bunch of kids and very nice families on that team.

I can see parents getting all caught up their kid's hockey when the kid is in Novice or Minor Atom, and they still think he might be the next Gretzky. But these kids are now Minor Peewee kids playing "A" hockey.

Why not just sit back and enjoy it? It will be over before you know it.
