Kings losing to AA teams this summer. Will be better than last season, but only marginally. Some good kids, but coaching marginal at best. Lots of other teams making much bigger strides. More parity all around. Watch out Marlies! (No, not for the Kings.)

It will never work. This TF/BM marriage will be the biggest disaster in the 97 age group. I can see the mushroom cloud forming already. Not enough ice time available down the center in key situations for both of their kids. Good luck BM, as I certainly feel for you. Watch out for Mrs TF, she really runs the show

BM kid has great talent, but as a parent from an opposing team he seems to have major attitude, not a team player....kids on our team heard him blaming teammates for mistakes

I don't want to bash a 10-11 year old but I would not want him on my son's team from watching in the stands this year- hopefully he will learn some graciousness in sports and learn to win and lose with dignity

Sens lost top scorers and replaced them with AA players. One of several good reasons why they will drop in the standings.

JRC added more talent than any other team but coaching remains the big unknown. TM improved a little. TT improved a little. MM about same. NYR dropped considerable. TN significant improvement. REBS and VK improved. Sens are very weak lost 2 best AAA players and replaced with good AA players. Will drop out of playoffs this year in the rebuild year. After that very weak teams.

Agree with most of 10:46 predictions.. Except, Nats and NYR finishing 5-6. NYR lost all, except lower tier on team, which they are good, jsut can't carry team. Picked up AA players and players who didn't make other teams, and yet finsh 5th... Not likely...

Nats, lost good players, one Kings and some Reps, replaced with 5 NYR kids, and then rest are AA... No way 6th.

Sens are an unknown, Rest of view I agree with, although Kings could move a little more...

Only 2 teams with 2 top quality AAA centres TM and JRC. At this age thats all you need. Lots of other teams including TT have 1 top centre. Has MS signed a TM card? Until that happens I agree with above poster JRC #1 once he signs JRC #2.

I saw what I believe was the 'NEW' Nats team play in a Canlan Torunament little while back and they looked pretty good. Not going to challenge for top spot or anything but I think they'll be a lot better than people on here seem to think.

WAY too much baggage for the Nats to finish high in the standings. It's say, really, the way the organization is being run now. Look for some surprises from some of the lesser-mentioned teams next season.

actually, Nats have ex-JR cdn. and ex-Titans D and also ex-Titans forward. SO not all 10 are AA players.

Who really care who's on what team. How does it really affect you? The kids are playing people they don't care who they are playing against .

The current 2 TM Centres are better than the 2 with the Jr Can, not to mention the fact that the new centre will not like the ice time he will get. 50% current 1st line centre, new 2nd line centre 30% and former 2nd line centre 20%. Not good for team chemistry, but fun to be on the outside looking in.

This will be funny to watch.

There are some teams that are being predicted at the bottom end but they will surprise.Being put there on reputation and not on new talent.

Only a couple of teams have talent, the top ones from last year do and the rest have no talent at all.

Now there's a generic negative comment designed to draw some ire!

I hear from some of the Nats parents that with KG as the power skateing instructor and part time coach on the bench that they will be top 3, maybe top 2 this year. I understand from them that he is the best coach in the G.

This will prove to be a very interesting year. Many top teams have made significant changes of players and ego's, not of kids but parents will get in the way of most of these teams reaching levels of success that they are expected to. (Level of success as measured by parents expectations)

Add into the mix the egos of the coaches and it should make for some very interesting times. We will see some monumental blow ups between coaches and parents and I predict between some blow ups between coaches as they completly lose focus that these are 11 and 12 year old boys.

My little Johnny learned to walk before your little Johnny. He can crawl really fast and if your not careful scoots right past us. Oh boy what a kid.

At some point in time all you silly parents will learn that these are 11 year old kids developing at different times and at different rates. Do any of you really believe that you can tell how good little johnny will be 5 to 6 years from now because of how fast he can crawl now. Who cares. I know I learned the hard way.

Which team he plays for does nothing for Johnny's development. Where what team ends up means absolutely nothing 5 to 6 years from now.

Grow up - get a life - I always love looking back and seeing what parents now a days are like compared to when our kids were young. And you now what - nothing changes. Except one thing. At some point you realize how ridiculous you all were and with a laugh and a little chuckle say thank god its over.

And for only a few of us - we can look back and say at least I didn't get caught up in it - and didn't end up stabbing my friends in the back for an extra 5 minutes of ice time for my kid.
