it's harder for the big slow guys you have to hit the small quick guys. a lot of OHL teams had small draft picks.

Had nothing to do at this hour .Saw this and thought that London must make a few changes. They lost to Cambridge last year which should send a clear signal to make changes. Other teams are making changes and most believe London needs to get bigger. We will see.

Take it easy AAA parents. All your little super stars will be invisible very soon. Many parents can't afford AAA, the time will come when the players decide who is tops not mommy and daddys wallet. Top AA teams from the USA will slap AAA teams around. This year the Marlies didn't have a single win against top american teams.

Champ of what 1 tournament?

The rankings suggested hat the Marlies were # 1 in Ontario after the OHF's based on who they played all year and the results, not 1 tournament.

Elgin is a 1 man show that dominated in the play off round of the OHF. Marlies also beat them pretty good in the RR.

I think all the ranting and raving you do about your team is a joke and its pretty obvious who is doing it ! Just look @ the timing of this thread and how it started right after spring hockey ended. First you started chirping after you won the OHF's then all the RG threads started after you won prospects. Then PH spanked you a few times and it went pretty quiet, now back to the EMC 97 thread. Why don't one or both of you clowns STFU !

Who cares RG and Elgin are a 1 man show and those days are coming to an end also.

Enjoy the OHF championship title well deserved, but only a tournament, not a true Ontario Championship... We all know in a series that Elgin would lose to all of the other 4 teams that participated.

Hi guys. Was checking out your thread and cant believe someone would be heartless to not qualify you as champs .You won fair and square. Some people just should be provided with therapy .Anyway I am the dad from another team in your division and we are looking forward to playing against you this year .We know how good you are and it excites us to know that our kids need to develope to the same level that your team plays at.Yes you have a very good player, but we also know that all your players are of a very high callibre.Your team is big ,fast and strong .We use your team as a benchmark to where we want to be and our kids are working very hard .I cant wait for the start of the season and especially an opportunity to play the defending OHF Champions. That must have been a thrill.Anyway,I hear your new coach is a no nonsense type of guy and he is well versed in the game of hockey.Good luck to you and see you on the south side .

No matter what positive statement you make about another team , someone thinks you are pimping your own team or kid .There are actually people out there that appreciate another good team or great player .The bottom line is if you like it or not, your team always gets compared to by other teams .TK is always talked about throughout the league and we also know there are other really talented kids on this squad .Talent size and speed are what you are about and this is backed by an OHF title. So are we supposed to put you down to make ourselves look better ; No ,we look like idiots .Do I want to see my kid play at a higher level against better teams and players ? Yes and you happen to be the team to compare against .Do I like it that your team is better than my sons ? No , but Im not going to stand and get my kicks out of name calling or being disrespectful .What do we do ; We offer our congrats like a true sportsman and live with the goal to go out and kick your ass when we meet in the rink .For those of you who dont understand this in sport then you were probably never an athlete nor a true competator. You can take this to the bank that everyone is gunning for you so you better stay sharp.I hope it is my sons team who will knock you off your high horse . I know he is working towards this every day.I am happy that your team is in our league because it will be a very good league for years .Development at it's finest.I cant wait to get started,or should I say that we already have. See you at the rink .
