Too many selfish people associated with this group for them to succeed. All these people care about is themselves and their own child. |

JH the coach has lot a lot of respect since moving to PH. This team will be a mess! |

Why did JH jump ship? I thought he had an undefeated 01 Bulldog team as well as a very strong tournament winning 99 Bulldog team. Bulldog organization must be abit mad. I no longer even see his name listed as a coach on their website. |

Stay away from any team with LS. Last year in Boston good kids sat while his underage less skilled son played in key situations. |

With all the politics in the 99 age group what a joke. Each Coach has his own agenda and now we expect all these guys to meld into one and get along. Especially VP. You think he will settle for his kid playing less than 4 minute shifts |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 3:03 PM |
You are right about the PH coaches:
LH--VP
JH--Son
WC--Son
JW--MR nephew
VP--Son- Now JH there he will be pushed aside
LS--son
Wow no room for anyone else for ice time, the coaches have to look after their own.
What a mess, JH cut those kids from BD when he ran tryouts. What a cast. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 3:51 PM |
So who is coaching BD now? |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:02 PM |
If LS is on team this is a joke. No way his little boy can play at that level. This is supposed to be the best of 99 representing Ontario. LS played his 2000 son over better 99 players in Philadelphia last year. Parents who spent all that money were fuming. Same thing will happen at the Brick. Beware! |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:13 PM |
That's right it was Philadelphia that LS coached and overplayed his 2000 son not Boston as was posted July 18. There were awards and he sat better players so his son could get more ice and try to win the award. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:19 PM |
LS skated his kid for just about everyone in the ,99 loop trying get him onto a AAA 99 team. the kdi couldn't make it and is playing this fall in the NYHL. Now you're telling me he can play Brick '99.
That is a joke, and shows everything that is wrong with the Brick! |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:16 PM |
Give LS a break. He is there helping LH. His son won't be on the team. Give ZS credit he played very well against top 99's |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:19 PM |
Sorry LS but your little guy should not ever be on the ice in any 99 tournament. If he was a JM that would be different. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 20 2008, 4:27 PM |
Agree 4:19. And the coaches jump ship after BD tryouts and join PH. This is a farce. Too many egos and agendas. Ask any parent who has ever played for LS in a spring tournament. Many good players sit whole periods. |
|

really getting sick of all these power hungry immature selfish egomaniacs ruining things for all these kids. who lets guys like this time and time again get involved in coaching for the wrong reasons? shouldnt their kids have to make these teams on their own merits? |

it is abit long winded but accurate to say the least |

JH & WC left the Bulldogs because they were being "told" who they were going to take on their team. Donations from parents, as long as their kids involved.
Money talks! |
|

JH and WC are also being forced to take players on PH, so I guess Pu$$y talks just as loud as money.

JH surprised TB let him go. He went to PH to make sure his kid got a spot and he could control his ice time cause any other coach would not have picked his child. |

|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 21 2008, 10:31 PM |
I was told that JH gave RL an ultimatum, JH or CM because he would have to let go kids better than CM and he would not do that. RL chose to move forward without JH and gave the team to DD instead. JH was shocked RL let him go. Heard that from a reliable source close to JH. Funny thing is he let kids go that were better than his own kid????? |

Peoples judgement gets clouded when it comes to family. In this case its even happened to a professional coach. Great guy that has lots of pressure apparently from his wife. I guess were all human and how many of us wouldn't try to put our own kids first if given the chance. It might not be fair but thats reality. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 21 2008, 10:51 PM |
Very well said, JH bought his way on the team for his kid by coaching the team, and fumbled up. Should of stayed with TB so he wouldn't have to face the kids he cut that went to PH and put his own kid under the microscope. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 21 2008, 10:57 PM |
If im JH id stick to the pros and leave all this bs behind. Theres more crap to deal with in kids hockey than there is with grown men that play the game for a living. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 21 2008, 11:00 PM |
Thats for sure, he just doesn't have much experience in minor hockey. Don't know why he is trying so hard to get his kid to the Brick, maybe it is his wife. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 22 2008, 8:03 AM |
Hes trying real hard to get his kid in the Silverstick too. Heard that JH got the Rebels prequalified for the Silverstick. Marlies, VKings, Reps, Jr Canadians, Titans, etc have to compete for one remaining spot, but not the Rebels. Dont understand how Rebels could prequalify as best team, without having to compete. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 22 2008, 8:16 AM |
maybe when they start losing in a big way to all those teams mentioned- the Silverstick people will yank the invite away as with the Brick team !!! |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 22 2008, 8:17 AM |
Not very fair to be able to use your power of profession to get ahead. Total crap that someone in an influencial hockey position uses that power only to advance his own child. Is he really doing his kid any good if the kid doesn't belong there? All that JH is doing is putting his kid under a microscope for all others to disect. You get there on merit and if your not good enough to get there that way then you shouldn't be there at all. Enjoy a long season of scrutiny if your kid isn't the superstar you think he is!!!! |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: pro hockey brick tryoutNo score for this post | July 22 2008, 8:25 AM |
All you *******s out there need to back off JH and his family, none of you have any clue. His kid is more than qualified to play in the brick. If any of you idiots look at the BDG games this year you would have seen one of the hardest working kids on the team that also put up a lot of points.
It done, **** happens, people sometimes make choices that they regret, that goes for both teams, there is no grand conspiracy theory.
All of you would put your child first, all of you!!!!!!! |
