| -They call it a rich man's game, ask all the dominican's, venezualian's, mexican's, cuban's and most of the americans's that gew up in the south, how wealthy they were.
-They wonder why anyone would let their kid play soccer, when they should let them sit around some more playing video games, getting "fat" ready for their career in baseball and a future of diabetes.
-They can't read, or have ADD, otherwise, they would have read or watched the numerous reports of MLB's concern that most athletes are NOT playing the game and choosing other sports, like basketball and football.
-Reports out of the US Athletic's report a decline in the number of kids playing baseball, while soccer participation is growing and at a all time high.
-The call it a North American game, when it's really America's favourite pastime, not a sport a pastime, like Horseshoe's and fishing.
-Canadian's suck at baseball, under 5 playing in MLB.
-48 Canadians playing first division soccer in Europe.
- think it takes more skill to throw a ball from 2nd to 1st (30 ft), than it does to accurately kick a ball that distance.
-Only the idiots that have never tried it thinks it's easy. They know it's not, thats why they won't play the game.
-They love baseball because they have no skills and it's a game any klutz can play, as long as your not a pitcher.
-Their kids probably only play select hockey because their dad's are the equipment managers.
-Won't have any intelligent response to this post |

Soccer is popular around the world because the poor and the cheap can play it. PERIOD!!
The players get paid so much because of the worlwide TV market. Again, the cheap and poor stay home and watch on TV which drives up the TV revenue.
While the rest of us are taking our family out for a nice dinner and to the movies, the cheap (you know who you are) are at home while their wives slave over the stove, their kids kick a ball in the yard and Daddy drinks homemade wine because he is too cheap to support the economy.

And the funniest part is they have never even been to the home country. They were born here, but somehow have a strong accent when they speak.
Soccer LOL |

sad part is 11:32 to 11:44 are same poster. He can't put more than half a thought together per post so he has to post 3 or 4 times to think he's getting a point across. |

Wow... the italianos are getting riled up. Soccer is a stupid game. Face it. How many NIL-NIL games do we have to watch before concluding that nothing ever happens in the sport. Everything about the game is stupid.
Huge field, but one ref.
Huge net, but no goals.
Huge egos, but no talent.
Huge crowds, but none are watching the game (too busy getting hammered and rioting)
Huge bore, but people still watch.
Soccer is EXACTLY like the fable of the Emperor wearing no clothes. Everybody is too brain-washed to state the obvious. It is RARE in the game to see any skill displayed at all, and most of the game is strictly one team playing "keep away" for 5 minutes and then pounding the ball over to the other team who do exactly the same thing.
Plus... the game ends whenever the ref feels like ending it after "injury time" is added. How stupid is that?
Europeans in the homeland are violent tribal people. Soccer is an extension of that tribalism. Nothing more, nothing less.
If the world cup was played by teams wearing plain jerseys, NO ONE would bother watching, even the so-called soccer fans. The "excitement" in soccer is the tribalism, not the sport. Take out the tribalism and no one would watch at all.

And would it be so hard to fly the Canadian Flag on the other side of your Honda with the irritating blue neon lights underneath. You are Canadian after all. Aren't you?

poor little mangiacake....
you have so many things on your list you are jealous of.
Lets list the excitement in baseball:
7th inning stretch - checking for the fan's and player's pulse
hot dog races - poor relish bit the dust 2 days ago
timeouts - lets get together and discuss what I should throw next
Unfortunately, that is all the excitement in baseball unless you're into crotch scratching and by all the posts you have put up on here, it sounds like you really are (and not your own crotch either)

At least baseball players have balls TO SCRATCH. With all the diving and crying you would think they would enter it into the decathlon at the olympics.
And comparing hitting a 2 1/2" ball(in diameter)with a round bat 3" in diameter, to kicking a large 10"(in diameter) ball with a what size 9 (for all you short fat italians) foot into a net that's how big?
Please, let me know when you have the brain power for the equations, or when you run out of kleenex. Stop crying already, your makeup has streaked down your face.

Right on! That's what I could never figure out about these crazy Italiano soccer heads. There is a huge ball; huge foot; and huge goal--but no one ever scores.
A basketball is similar in size to a soccer ball, but a basketball net is a foot and half wide, while a soccer net is 24 feet wide.
It ain't hard to kick a soccer ball--literally any person who is ambulatory can do it--so why, after 90 minutes plus whatever the I-Tie refereeing wants to add in injury time, aren't any goals scored.
It is because these soccer players have no skill.
Hopefully, as the world develops and casts off its backward traditions, it will also leave behind its backward sports like soccer.

Get it right,
Huge field, 3 officials.
Huge net, and enough goals.
Huge egos, unlike Canseco, Bonds, McGuire, Clemmon and then all needed roids.
Huge crowds, but none are watching the game (too busy getting hammered and rioting) no ones drunk at baseballs game are they
Huge bore, but people still watch. thats about right for baseball.
Glad you brought up tribalism, ever talk to a Red Sox fan, Yankee's Fan any sports or "pastime" fan? Tribalism is prevalent in all sports, it's what units individual's that may live on the other side of the country or half way across the world. A Yankee's fan is a Yankee's fan whether he live's in the Bronx or Miami, they love Jetter and hate the Red Sox, even if they don't have anything else in common, they connect, because of that. What else would you call that, other than tribal.
Thanks for bringing it up

only balls baseball players have to scratch are roids induced. Too bad you ain't got anything to scratch.
Oh BTW, tell Stephen the fries are done! |

Headlines a few weeks back:
"Red Sox fan attacks Yankee fan with bat" Turns out the guys wasn't even a baseball fan. He only had NY licence plates and was driving by the stadium after the ball game
You, sir, may be educated (and that is a stretch) but you still are an IDIOT!!!!
