Royals will not get out of their division. Historically they have a tough time with Brampton and the Jets.

The A players make a huge difference, they should have been AA past 2 years. Like Erindale will beat most of the AA teams, they proved it last year......

Since a lot of these games come down to goaltending, I asked my kid who he thought was the best goalie in the west as he faced them, not me. The kids he named was the ex- Streestville goalie, big kid on MJ and the lefty on the Braves. Since the Streetsville kid has gone to the Terriers as reported on here and i don't know what happened to the other 2 whether they stayed with there teams or moved on, I would have to give the Terriers the edge in winning this. I'd like to say my sons team is going all the way, but from what I've seen so far we"re solid up front but but not so strong behind our blueline.

A teams went 4-2 in this tourny last season.Better than a lot of the AA teams did.

Oakville A is a good team but certainly not better than the top AA teams.
No divisions look lopsided so should be interesting.

NS will be good in this tournament but as the season gets on this team will be flying my friends, picked up the best A kids in ont.and with the 6 players they kept who really should be playing AAA its going to be a great season.

NS picked up some A players from CO. Unfortunately for the NS the 3 best players on CO last season were not in the group that went to the NS. All 3 went to different teams.

Braves do not look good so I think Oakville can come out of the A Divsion.

How do you not mention NT when talking about who emerges from Group A. Whether or not you think this team will or won't emerge, they'll likely be a factor.

When did you watch the Braves practice? June? Mid-August? Ten and 11 year olds practising in the off-season will not likely give you a good read on their ability.

Mid August - it gives an indication (which can change) but they did not look good. We'll see in a few weeks

why would Oakville AA go to a AAA tourney they couldnt beat the gthl AA teams in the silver stick tourney last year,these clowns are always pimping,they should try beating AA teams first and not AA hick teams from some 25,000 population that they always beat up on to boost their record
