I've 'been there' with previous collections and have been determined (more)
not to do that this time round. 'Perfectionism kills' Hugh Prather once said, and I agree. Not to say I don't love the fine perfection of the objects, but living in fear is a killer. My experience is not to sweat it, to enjoy them for what they were designed to be, and, with the right purchases, a ding here or there won't hurt the overall financial equation, as these watches do seem to steadily increase in value. My lifestyle doesn't put my watches at much risk either. Can't think of the last time I scraped along a brick wall or found my hand covered in crap.
