You'll find that both the Rolex and Panerai are plenty tough. In fact, I'd venture to say that both watches are going to be tougher than the wrist they are worn on. You could safely dive with either watch. They can both take some rather tough treatment.
I'm not sure I'd want to find out which one is tougher because a true torture test is sure to wreck one watch and put the hurts on the other....
