Buying a watch from a far off land and the seller takes BidPay. Okay, fine, so I registered and everything went as expected.
24 hours later I get an email requesting further information - get this: a copy of my passport or driver's license, and the credit card I use. The copies should be light enough and double the actual size. The instructions say fax these copies in and they will release the transaction to the seller.
I'm not prone to paranoia (why are you looking at me that way?) but it's been 72 hours. I didn't send in the passport copy but I did the driver's license and credit card bit. Have heard NOTHING from Bidpay despite 2 emails to them.
Anyone have a similar "wonderful" experience with BidPay?
