I took this watch in trade sight unseen. It is a wonderfully large vintage watch, measuring a large 38mm diameter without the crown, and a whopping 41.5mm with the crown, plus it is 12.5mm high. Due to the seconds at 9 o’clock I assume it is a recased pocketwatch movement, and the case is indeed unsigned. But, at the military watch forum, a poster from Germany said he has seen these before, so I am really not sure. Anyway, it just came back from my watchmaker who gave it an overhaul and new crystal, and it is running well. It is on a grey NATO type strap. The dial has a tiny bit of spotting which you can see in my picture, but it looks MUCH better in person.
