I have a SINN 244 Ti watch for sale.
Some General Information:
This watch has actually been tested by C.O.S.C. and issued the real chronometer certificate (as will be seen in the picture). The condition of the watch is excellent. The case and the buckle are made of Titanium, with a diameter of 36mm (not including crown). It has a special screw down crown that will remain waterproof even if it was pulled out to set the time (it is not reccommended to do so anyway). The watch is waterproof to the depth of 200 meters. It has the original shark skin waterproof band from Sinn. It has a sapphire crystal, and a screw down Titanium back. This is a pretty new watch, and it has never been open before. It has also been well taken care of. The dial is a matte black in perfectly new condition. The tritium paint is glowing strong during the night.
Special Features:
The most amazing feature for this watch is its Antimagnetic capability. It can withstand the very strong magnetic field up to 80,000 A/M, the same as the spec. of IWC Ingenieur. This is a real technical watch from Sinn. It also has the shock resisting capability, by using the flexible mounting of the movement, again, same style as the new Ingenieur. Also, it has a special shock resisting mounting for its sapphire crystal, the unconventional feature of this watch.
It also has a special soft iron shield to protect the movement from strong magnetic field.
Movement & Accuracy:
The movement of this watch is a chronometer class ETA 2892-2A. Its accuracy (when wearing it all day and leaving it in Dial up position at night) is approximately +/- 1 sec per day, the most accurate watch in all my collection (of course, Quartz not included). If wearing it continually for a week, the accuracy can be superlative (I compared it with www.time.gov, and found it to be accurate within +2 seconds in one week!) So it really deserves the chronometer certificate.
C.O.S.C. Certificate:
This certificate is issued for this particular watch. Unlike the big watch company of these days, Sinn has given the REAL chronometer certificate containing the details of the test results and approved stamp of the test.
SO HOW MUCH THEN ?:
The quoted price (this price is a discounted price from a dealer in Germany) of this watch is about USD 1,100.
