FIRE SALE -not really fire – a “nick” sale – a blem sale
a GOOD opportunity for someone who is quick to reply to cash in a good deal at a great price. I have sold this watch for 375-395 on the net. I have on piece that has 2 “dings” in the bezel and the case at 10:00 ( see inset photo ) – most of us would make this kind of mark in 1 week of use – but I cannot and will not sell this as a new watch – I am not putting this on ebay unless you force me to
I thought through the encouragement of a few people to offer it to MWR reader’s first – I only have one at this price. First come first served – the rest are back to full price. by time stamp on your email – not a reply to the Forum – PLEASE NOTE
This is a Kienzle Atlantis Mecanique – This is a HUGE watch all in Stainless Steel – IT IS NEW IN THE BOX !!!!!!!!!! Kienzle is a German watch company with an OUSTANDING SWISS MOVEMENT that has been in the business of making watches for 175 years !!!!!!. This is a HEAVY watch – if you do not like a Rolex Sub or an IWC FleigerCHRONO or Dopple then you will not like this hunk of a watch – you need a BIG wrist and strong arms to carry this one around and I am not joking. Is this a Luminor Panerai – NO – but it sure does look like one!
It CANNOT be missed when you wear it on your wrist EVEN FROM ACROSS THE ROOM !!!!!!!! This watch with a stainless steel screw back case MEASURES: 43 mm across Not including the crown! and the length is 43 mm – the lug-to-lug distance is 52 mm. Swiss made for KIENZLE in limited numbers exclusively for the Italian market – obviously since it looks like a PANERAI ------ they do even without the special crown lock that Panorei has on their watches .Here is a chance to experience the Panerai look on your wrist for a fraction of the cost of the Vendome Group Panerai sold today for $3000.00 - – the plastic protective crystal guard is in place as the day it left the factory. The Dial is stunning with the second hand at 9:00 and the reason for that is the movement inside which is the guts of this ENORMOUS WRISTWATCH: the UNITAS 17 jewel manual mechanical movement is in the caliber 6497 (this movement WAS used by Panerai in some of its editions!!!! See the Panerai web site for the 1992/3 version in which they list it as the ETA 6497 movement, they are one and the same!. A friend of mine who has this watch said: “Treat it right and it will last two lifetimes.” and he is right. This movement is a pocket watch movement of 16 lignes with a power reserve of 60 hours ( SIXTY ) It is rated as water resistant to 5 ATM ( =165 feet ). This watch comes in its original box and has a large original heavy duty leather strap. It comes with the original "hang tag" and warranty card for collectors ! This watch is GUARANTEEED to be as described works fine but sold as is and sale is final - no approval at this price . Price is 245 delivered ( in the US more outside) in the box - ONLY ONE.
