Hard To Find!
Here's an increasingly rare opportunity to own a discontinued modern classic, the IWC Porsche Design Ocean 2000. This FULL SIZED solid titanium automatic creature continually fetches more and more as less and less of them are offered for sale and collectors snatch them up.
This one is in particularly nice condition showing extremely careful wear. No dings or dents anywhere on the case or bracelet. Only a few light scratches on the clasp and bracelet, and a couple of faint, nearly invisible hairline scratches on the domed sapphire crystal that you would probably not even notice had I not mentioned them. The dial is minty with a wonderful mellow and totally even patina to the hands and markers. All tritium is intact in the hands.
The bracelet is very large and spins around on my 7 ˝" wrist. I don't know if links were removed from it, but I can't be sure. It should easily fit all but the very largest of wrists. The bracelet shows no signs of stretch or wear, and has none of the gaps typically found on the Ocean….the links are all perfectly aligned.
Unidirectional rotating bezel lines up perfectly at 12 o'clock. Full rotor automatic with hack feature and quick set date.
The back is near mint with 1 small surface scratch and some signs of a service opening.
The watch is running wonderfully and keeping great time.
Comes with the original zippered leather case, AND the original IWC link removal tool made especially for the Ocean. Sorry, no papers.
These babies hardly ever come up for sale, and rarely in such sweet condition. If you've ever considered owning one, this is the one to get!
