I'm trying to raise money to purchase another watch (what else?) so am offering these if you are interested.
1. CWC G10 quartz. I bought this one from Anchor in September so you know the type. I'm asking a little more for it because if its remarkable accuracy. I set it when I got it and so far it is about two seconds off WWV. What's this work out to, ten seconds per year or so? Pretty incredible. This is mostly sitting dial up on my desk. I wore it two days, other than that it's like new with some handling marks. All kinds of military markings and the circle T and broad arrow. On gray NATO strap. $125 delivered in USA.
2. Pulsar G10 quartz. New on gray NATO strap. Has date complication. On dial the circle T is replaced by a circle L. On case back it reads in a circle "stainless steel V732-0L70 AO (in box) water resistant". In straight writing it reads "6645-99 6052627 /|\ P00813/99 PULSAR MOV'T JAPAN 9D0541" This one has never been worn. This one looks very much like the CWC except for the date complication. $145 delivered in USA.
3. Poljot Russian 17 jewel manual wind military "looking" watch with black dial, sweep seconds, date, luminova colored Arabic numbers and luminova hands. All stainless steel brushed finish case about 37mm diameter (bigger than the G10 models). In plastic box with instructions in Russian. New with clear plastic stickers on front and back. Padded black leather strap (which is signed Poljot and genuine leather and pretty nice actually) 18mm at lugs. Screw back. On back it reads in a circle "water resistant 3 ATM All STAINLESS STEEL" and in the middle "POLJOT N --029" which I suppose is the serial number. The movement on this is non hacking, but you can do the old back pressure on crown trick to get the movement to stop so you can set it precisely. $45 delivered in USA. (I cannot believe the Russians can make a decent quality watch and sell it this cheap. Don't get me wrong, it isn't an IWC or anything but it does keep time and is nice looking too.)
That's it. Email me with questions. If you want all three you can have them for $300. Or, if I am way off on price make me an offer. I don't follow the market that much. They are all nice watches and would make good daily wearers. I read something about the Pulsar on this board lately being the new issue watch? I don't know where mine fits into the scheme of things -- perhaps you can tell me? There are a lot of "99" numbers on it. Could it be a 1999 issue? In case they don't sell I'd like to know for future reference. Thanks a lot for reading all this.
Best Regards,
John Coan
