Family tree displays

Some of you may have seen these already, but for those who haven't... these are polymer clay magnets that I made using wedding, graduation, and christening pictures. It's a family tree for Neil and I that includes our sons and nephews, our siblings, our parents, and our grandparents.

They are the subject of an article that I wrote which will appear in the next issue of PolymerCAFE magazine.

So here are the pictures I started with:



And here is what I did with them:



I keep them on the side of my fridge at the moment. Do you have any kind of family tree displays in your home?

Oh! And on a less formal scale, I made these magnets for the kids to play with:



They are kept right on the fridge at kid-level and they play with them all the time. THey've been particularly great for Eamonn, so he can learn everybody's name, including those aunts and uncles we don't see that often. He also uses them to distinguish which grandma he means when he says he wants to visit grandma.
