This is a picture I have used as my "alter ego" at times. She's so sweet...I am.... sometimes! She seems a little submissive, don't you think? I'm surely not that as much as I used to be.

She looks sweet, a little unsure of herself, too.

She's no done-up dolly--love the minimally-styled hair. She's a face a child would turn to for comfort, and an adult for an honest answer delivered with tact. She has known sadness, and she's chooses her battles with great care. I'd imagine that she lost a love in combat, then volunteered as a nurse during wartime--"Never mind me" would be a phrase she'd use, but she's also got a strong no-nonsense core. She survives.

How's that for completely groundless speculation??
