An old friend and I met up and went to a Red, White and Blue thrift shop. They are associated, I believe, with a Vietnam Vets group and I'd never been there before. Anyway, for $35 I came home with a (probably imitation) Coach backpack purse, a plaid GAP sheath dress, a striped t-shirt, khaki cropped pants, pants for Aidan, a shirt for Aidan, shorts for Aidan, and shorts for Eamonn. If I'd been there alone (read: without Eamonn) I'd probably have stayed even longer and bought even more. He was very well-behaved, but I didn't want to push my luck!
I was on a thrift store kick two years ago, but it had slipped my mind how much fun it can be to get a big bag of stuff for relatively little money.
