Today I got my ACS result and it is positive:

Satisfied the Requirement of the ACS PIM 2, Group A.



My skills have been assessed to be suitable for the migration under 2231-17 of the ASCO code.

But they have not mentioned about MODL. I was also looking for MODL under (2231- 79). I am a C# professional and mentioned in my application

under in current employer MODL reference.



What should I do now? Please help any one.

Congrats on the positive result.

You were not awarded C# recognition probably because the ACS decided your evidence to support your C# claims were insufficient.

You have a choice to appeal to the ACS with new and stronger evidence to support your C# claims, or to wait until you have accrued sufficient experience in C# before re-applying to the ACS for MODL recognition.

You may need to get some professional assistance on this.

Thanks for your reply. But don't you think they can overlook your claim for MODL. Earlier they asked me some additional documents which were already there with them (which I told them over phone). So I think they can make mistake as well. From your experience can you suggest if applicant ask for MODL and they don't give it, whether they mention something about it. They have not mentioned anything to me.

Did you try contacting them over the phone and explaining? You might be correct in saying - they may have overlooked the C# experience even if you had presented enough details.

It depends on what have been your job responsibilities. In case, they find that your job responsibilities do not include C# experience, they would not give you MODL.

I haven't contacted them over phone but written 2 emails and they replied by saying 'If you are not statisified, do appeal'. Whatever I have written it was only reply. So I have done appeal after collecting references (detailed and descriptive) from my co workers, CTO, HR etc. Let us see what happen this time. Anyway appeal have additional cost of $300 + Courier charges. That will be fine If I get positive result.

Ensure that the reference letter contains descriptive job responsibilities so as to be successful in your appeal.
