I sent my ACS application by DHL courier, it was received by ACS and I got my acknowledgement email on 9th January, 2009. I'm going for the 2231-79 with MODL points for C#.



Since then it is in To be Allocated status. There is no change in status still now. I'm going to try to keep checking down to every day. Normally how long it takes for ACS for change the status? Please inform.

Hi Bumba,

Due to unknown reasons it is bit slow these days. My appeal application which was received on 24th Nov by ACS got finalized on 10th Feb (which normally take 4-6 weeks). Sometime they don't update status as well. So don't worry. If status does not change in 10-15 days time, write them simple email (not directly asking about status) to know whether they got everything whatever was required. Irrespective of the status on website overall it takes around 3 months.

Just to let you know, the ACS closes for the entire month of December which creates a huge backlog. My application was sent in early November, I got my assessment result through today - Positive ASCO 2231-11. Hooray! Next it's IELTS. Just have to be patient about the whole migration process I'm afraid...

it will take 4-5 weeks to change the status to "In process".
