Well, there's always the classic cup of hot chocolate. When I want that, my favorite by far is Land-o-Lakes mint. It's soooooo smoooooth and minty. Yum.
Lately, though, not wanting to blow three Weight Watchers points on a beverage, I've been making a cup of coffee and using some Coffee Mate Peppermint Mocha creamer, which is almost as good as a cup of mint hot chocolate.
Back around Thanksgiving time, I was doing the same with their Pumpkin creamer. It was good, but a little sweet for my liking. I don't put sugar in my coffee, so I don't care for sweet creams.
I'm not sure what other nifty flavors I'll try once the holiday minty thing is out of my system. Maybe vanilla.
I like it with cream and sugar. Irish or English Breakfast is my favorite.
Tastefully Simple has a Hazelnut Cocoa out this winter. It is SO good. I have one cup a week, lol. Love getting the products at sample prices

Irish and English Breakfast are my favorite teas, too.

I was on a Green Tea kick a few months ago, too. I like that because I don't have to have any milk in the house to enjoy it. It's a good "forgot to go food shopping" tea
Marshmallow root and catnip tea sounds positively awful
But I'm glad you're happy, LOL!
Candy Cane Lane sounds like something I'd like - it's probably similar to Tazo Zen Tea: http://www.coffeeforless.com/product.asp?id=352&CatID=99 Which reminds me, I still have a box of that in the cupboard. It got shoved behind a box of Trader Joe's Pomegranate White Tea (which, it turns out, is just too fruity for me).

I flipped over the Candy Cane Lane last year, couldn't find it after the holidays, and ended up ordering a case. I was drinking several cups a day, thinking that was a good thing. Then I had to give it up, along with my coffee - apparently, all teas are very acidic. I have an occasional cup as a treat, though.
And actually, the marshmallow root doesn't really have a taste, and the catnip is quite good - very soothing. I think I'll grow some next summer!
After all of this mint tea talk, I went and dug out my box of Tazo Zen last night only to find that it was something actually Trader Joe's Organic Mint Melange Tea. And after reading the box, I discovered it wasn't really "tea" at all, but just peppermint, lemon grass, and spearmint. I didn't used to be a big herbal tea fan, but I guess I must be developing a taste for it, because I really enjoyed this one. And the strong mintiness was helpful in combating the Pringles Selects Szechuan Rice Chips I'd had earlier (which are quite good, but very potent garlic-wise)

Peppermint mocha is my fav right now - I found 2 more bottles for $1 each on clearance last week!
My standbys are Hazelnut & Vanilla. The no sugar added ones are good, too. The aren't as thick but just as sweet - I haven't checked the calorie/fat/carb count to compare.

But anything that tastes sweet bothers me. I've never sweetened my coffee/tea drinks and I just don't like them sugary. I had tried Pumpkin, and it was good, but a bit too much on the sweet side for me. I was thinking of trying the vanilla, but I'm not sure about the sweetness factor. Maybe I should just try vanilla soymilk or something like that...

not totally sure what it is - amaretto, german chocolate and something else...it is so yummy, no real taste, just smooth, rich and yummy - from gloria jeans coffee, i get 5lbs at a time! then i put a bit of splenda, a dash of non fat coffee mate creamer (hate it that it has the partial hydrogentated oil!) or sometimes fat free half and half or 2% milk. Then a shot of whip cream on top - yum!
at night i drink hot tea - celestial seasons orange spice or sleepytime extra.
C does the hot chocolate around here - and he loves the mint one, too!
My aunt used to make up batches of it in the winter. I think it had jello, maybe Tang, some spices... I loved that stuff!
It's barely been cold enough here to even want a hot beverage. It's been in the 60's the past few days, and I killed a mosquito yesterday... have had my doors and windows open today... Isn't global warming wonderful!
I love the unexpected kick from the chiles-it's like an extra pick me up. Although I'm now limiting myself to one a week (cutting out caffeine, sugar, etc.) I like hot, peppery flavors in hot drinks-yogi teas makes a mango spice tea that has black pepper in it and I love that. On a daily basis I'm drinking an anti-oxidant blended tea-lemon grass, green tea, licorice, alfalfa, burdock, dandelion and irish moss. mmmmmm mmmmm!
I never thought of using savory spices in hot drinks - I tend to think of hot drinks as a dessert-y type thing. Interesting.
Dandelion & irish moss? Between you and Phyllis I'm actually getting an itch to try some more "earthy" teas, even though they sound pretty awful, LOL! They can't possibly taste like they sound, or you wouldn't be drinking them.
Where do you get your anti-oxidant tea?

That looks good (especially if it does all of the things it says it does ) and I am all out of some of my favorite TJ's foods. Definitely time for a little trip!

I bought a box of "Morning Thunder," which is a blend of roasted yerba mate and black tea - thought it would be good for an occasional caffeine fix. Blech! By "roasted," they apparently mean "smoked." To me, it tastes like smoked meat - not exactly what I was expecting. I think I'll look for a non-roasted variety!
