If I don't do a load a day it quickly gets out of control. After 10 years of having a "laundry day" where I (theoretically) did all of the loads at once, I finally had an "a ha!" moment last year when FlyLady suggested a load a day. That was a foreign concept to me, but I will never go back to doing it the other way.
I throw a load in the washer immediately after my shower, move it to the dryer right after DS#1 gets on the bus, and then folkd & put away whenever I think of it (sometimes the next morning when I need the dryer again
but at least it gets done!)
