but for the rug downstairs - does it do carpets? I don't vacuum downstairs as often as I should because I hate lugging the big vac down there and back. I might be better about it if I had something easier to carry.
As far as floors go, I tend to just use the regular swiffer, swiff any crumbs or what have you into a pile and sweep up into a dustpan (or suck up with my dustbuster). I only use the big vacuum when I have it out to do the living room rug, or when the kitchen has gotten
really out of control crumb-wise
