I'm taking a break from my Weekly Home Blessing (corny FlyLady term for doing a quick dusting/vacuuming/mopping/sheet-towel-changing pass through the house) and I thought of an idea... Let's do a Cleaning Challenge. Here's how it would work:
Everyone who wants to participate would come up with one task that is often overlooked (but not too hard to do - this has to be fun!) Post your task, and everyone else will try and do that task in their own homes and post when they've completed it. Sound simple enough? And we can give it a week, so we don't have to accomplish everybody's tasks in one day.

Ok, here's my task:
Take some all-purpose cleaner and wipe down the surfaces of your washer & dryer. This is something I've been doing on a weekly basis, but until recently I hadn't done it at ALL in the 8 years I've lived here
Now somebody challenge me! (and go scrape the lint off the top of your dryer!)

I've not been on track lately, doing routines that is, just teh normal everyday stuff so the house isn't a pigsty. I need to get back into doing the new habit of hte month and such. I forget though. Need a written reminder on my mirror I guess.

I actually put my FlayLady emails on "special notice" only last week

because all I was doing was deleting them - I was getting overwhelmed with all of the mail in my inbox and wasn't reading anything even the important stuff, for days on end.
I'm up for a challenge! As long as I feel like doing it, LOL!
