I actually got the tv to myself today - when the kids are home, they usually choose what we watch, and when they're in school, I usually keep the tv off and listen to music - I'm more productive that way. But today, I've got a cold and I just want to relax a bit. So, the bus came to get A, I dropped E off at preschool, went to the post office to check my PO box, went to the best bagel place
ever to get myself a cream cheese sandwich and a coffee, went home, turned on the tv, grabbed my laptop and the breakfast I bought, and kicked back on the couch. And here I still am
I hear you saying to yourself, "ok, Lis, get to the point, will ya?"
Alright. I'm watching Martha Stewart and she had a list of the 6 things you should do every day:
(darn, I was just going to link to her website but they're not on there! now I have to remember them. let's see...)
1. Make the bed
2. Manage the clutter
3. Sort the mail
4. Clean as you cook
5. Clean up spills when they happen
6. Sweep the kitchen floor
That's them.
Do you agree? Is there anything that you feel you need to do
every day in order to keep things under control in your home?
