By "updating the mix" what I meant was swapping out a number of songs for new ones. I get enough storage space for about 7 hours of music, and I try to swap out about 25 tunes every 2 or 3 days. Unfortunately, I had recently let it go about TEN days. So, you've been hearing the same stuff over and over.
