I've also made a hat for myself that I think is really cool. I haven't photographed it. I made it using two strands of yarn - one regular boring old strand of brown, and another funky soft fuzzy yarn with greens & blues in it. I can't wait to wear it
I also made Eamonn a hat using gray yarn and blue fun fur. It goes really well with his blue & gray winter jacket. Unfortunately, it's a bit too small because I took it off of the loom too soon (what else is new??) and on top of that it is SO fuzzy, he looks like some kind of porcupine or something. I think it's cute, but DH says it would be cruel to send him to school like that, LOL!
I had planned to make one for Aidan in gray and orange to match
his jacket, but I've decided to rethink that, given the fuzz factor of Eamonn's hat...
I'm working now on a really small hat for a friend's new baby girl. I was in the mood to make something with some pinks, and since there is a considerable lack of pink in MY house, I had to find a recipient elsewhere
I want to do some scarves, too, before it gets too cold.
