My favorite feature of that one is the way the middle cable splits into the neckline border. Very clever design, and even better -- no need to add the neckline in after like you have to for most sweaters. (Detail of the neckline area is

This scarf is something I've been doing off and on (mostly off) for almost two years now. It's done with a technique called illusion or shadow knitting, which results in a design that looks like plain old stripes when you look at it straight on, like this:
But when you look at an angle, there's a pattern:
I don't actually like spiders, so I gave it to a friend -- I just wanted to do it because I thought the effect was really neat.
