If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

Notes (The way I saw it):

A battle of goaltenders and Miron came out on top. End to end action. A lot of shots in the chest of both goalies.
Ajax-Pickering out hustled the Merchants.

Ajax-Pickering dressed only 17 and Mike Daley twisted his ankle, I think in the warm up, which left Ajax-Pickering with 16 runners.

Clem D’Orazio an ex-Merchant came back and haunted the Merchants with two unassisted goals on clear breakaways.

Merchants had a chance to tie the game late in the third period when Jordan West-Pratt picked up a 2 min high sticking penalty. A potential Merchant goal was called back on a crease call and then some not clean ball handling denied the Merchants another chance at a clear shot on net.
