Woodsmen Improve To 12 & 0

(Ohsweken, On)

The Owen Sound van Dolder Home Team Woodsmen have improved to 12 & 0 in Ontario Senior B Lacrosse after beating the Ohsweken Warriors 18-8 on Sunday afternoon.

Bryan Kazarian led the NorthStars with 5 goals while Jamie Grimoldby continued his torrid scoring pace with 7 points in the win.

Woodsmen General Manager Mark Berner described the win as " ugly ".

Berner says there was a bench clearing incident in the first period which totalled 145 penalty minutes being assessed.

While not thrilled about the incident, Berner does believe the Woodsmen faced the adversity as a team and managed to pop a number of power play goals as a result.

The defending President's Cup Champion Woodsmen are off now until July 3rd when they travel to Elora to take on the Wellington Dufferins.
