If you make a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer
Foundation, please mention "lacrosse" in a note with
the donation. At my request, in memory of my wife
Brenda, the CBCF will then direct the funds to a
facility seeking a "cure", rather than a "control".

What a crock! If a player wants to play B ball for whatever reason, who cares! It only enhances the competition. After playing NLL all year for peanuts, a guy has to make a living & probably has better work prospects playing at home. The committment level is far less & they still get to keep a stick in their hands. I can tell you factually, that the best young Alberta players will go to A ball in hopes of getting noticed by NLL scouts. That obviously has a direct effect on B ball in Alberta. We encourage, not discourage that at our own jeapordy. The NLL players that play B ball in Ab. are older, more established players that just want to play & I'm sure that is the case for the rest of the associations. Why get the CLA involved when there is no real reason for it, other than someone who doesn't really know the facts, beaking off.
