Good to see Sarnia having some succcess in the early stages of the year and even Oakville/Hunstville are keeping games tight.
Hopefully this makes for 7 competitive teams throughout the year which is now almost 25% in.
Any early predictions for the season...
Mine:
St. Catharines --- stronger than last year and still missing a few of their NLL players.
Norwood --- likely to get some guys after Major cuts and always strong on D
Brooklin --- Strong nucleus of guys, many of whom play together all year in CLAX, Prague
Sarnia --- surprise team of the year. Lots of former junior stars that will take some time to get their sticks back
Owen Sound --- questions always arise as to whom they might pick up throughout the year. Still seem to be missing some of their stars from last year.
Oakville - No superstars, but Preece in net last game shows some improvements from their opening night goalie.
Hunstville --- I call increase in wins from last year, but not much more than that
