THE AAPBA EXTREME DOG RACING Champions
The EDR is an event that brings out a dogs natural speed and prey drive. The EDR uses a lure or bait as motivation to run at full speed. The EDR races include Flats, Hurdles and Superflats. Championship titles can be earned separately in each type of race.

Height Classes, Championship Classes and Point System
AAPBA Extreme Dog Racing Classes
The AAPBA Sanctioned Extreme Dog Racing Event consists of up to five height classes in the three racing events.
Height Classes
Hot Shots and Champion Hot Shots under 10 inches (Specialty Class)
10 to 12 7/8 inches. (10's)
13 to 15 7/8 inches. (13's)
16 to 18 7/8 inches. (16's)
19 to 20 7/8 inches. (19's)
21 and above. (21's)
AAPBA Extreme Dog Racing Points and Championship
An award will be given for first place in each class. Points will be awarded to the first thru fourth place in each Champion class as stated below.
Points
First place = ten points
Second place = six points
Third place =four points
Fourth place = three points
Fifth place = two points
AAPBA Extreme Dog Racing Championship Titles
Once a dog earns its Championship Title in the EDR Flats, Hurdles or Superflats it will always compete against Champions in their same height class. All dogs that have not earned championship are considered Rookies.
Flats
A dog must earn 100 points to earn an Extreme Certified Championship. (ECC)
200 points earns an Extreme Elite Championship. (EEC)
300 points earns an Extreme Master Championship. (EMC)
400 points earns an Extreme Ultimate Championship. (EUC)
500 points earns an Extreme Superior Championship. (ESC)
600 points earns an Extreme Premier Championship. (EPC)
Hurdles
A dog must earn 100 points to earn an Extreme Certified Championship in Hurdles. (ECC-H)
200 points earns an Extreme Elite Championship in Hurdles. (EEC-H)
300 points earns an Extreme Master Championship in Hurdles. (EMC-H)
400 points earns an Extreme Ultimate Championship in Hurdles. (EUC-H)
500 points earns an Extreme Superior Championship in Hurdles. (ESC-H)
600 points earns an Extreme Premier Championship in Hurdles. (EPC-H)
Superflats
A dog must earn 100 points to earn an Extreme Certified Championship in Superflats. (ECC-H)
200 points earns an Extreme Elite Championship in Superflats. (EEC-SF)
300 points earns an Extreme Master Championship in Superflats. (EMC-SF)
400 points earns an Extreme Ultimate Championship in Superflats. (EUC-SF)
