Woohoo! The marigolds are in, though not as many of the red ones as I would like. They are very colorful and really give the front a prettier look. It's looking less and less like a family of 'white trash' lives here, though we still have some of the bare lawn patches and the car pieces are still at the side of the house. sigh

Marigolds and lilies (tiger, day & easter) are the big ones I remember my mother having.

My gerbera daisies are dead... they did well in the house for 3 weeks or so, and then I moved them outside when the were looking ill. I spent about a week alternating between over-watering and under-watering and eventually they just couldn't take it, LOL! I have such a black thumb... I need to grow plants that do well in nature without relying on a human to give them water
