Got a ’03 Corolla at my disposal & need $ for college, so my track/street car is for sale:
90 GLI 2.0 16v, white, big bumpers, 134K total miles, < 4K on rebuilt motor by Ron Wood/VW Specialties & German Performance. Here are some specs, all of which was done to ready car for the track 2/3 years ago:
engine/tranny: top and bottom rebuilt, head sent to machine shop, new oil pump, piston rings, water pump, lifters, euro intake cam, Garrett chip, timing belt/tensioner, spark plugs, alternator, upper/lower injector seals, all gaskets replaced, SACHS clutch/pp & flywheel, Velocity limited slip diff kit, shifter bushing/linkage, solid rubber engine/tranny mounts, manual-adjust clutch cable, Mobil1 synth and Redline MTL. New Distributor Cap/Rotor, A/C belt, Alternator belt, timing belt, Power Steering belt.
suspension: Bilstein Sports, H&R Race springs, VR6 strut bearings, 25/28mm Neuspeed swaybars, Eurosport strut bar, poly rear upper shock mounts, fr/rr wheel bearings, -2.25 front camber, -1.5 rear camber, new rear wheel bearings
brakes: front Powerdiscs, stock rear rotors, Ferodos all around, SS brake lines, ATE Superblue, North Viking brake cooling ducts. Brakes have never faded...
cooling: new radiator, coolant hoses, low temp thermostat, low temp fanswitch, expansion tank & sensor, Eurosport medium external oil cooler, Big Bumper Air Ducts (for front brakes). Coolant temp never reaches 1/2 way mark and oil temp never exceed 240F at the track.
misc: Recaro interior (power seats), driver side Schroth harness w/ stock belts intact, Optima battery, Eurosport exhaust, "test" pipe for the track, frigid a/c, Euro Spec rectangular headlites and stock US lites, racing steering wheel, DTM style shift knob, Sparco pedal covers, 5 GLI BBS w/ 4,000 mile old Kumhos (good friends with the guys at the tire shop, routinely rotate/balance tires & alignments), GTI 16v mat set, eurosport 8mm 16v yellow spark plug wires, and more…..
Awesome street/track car, 24mpg on mostly city driving, 30+ on freeway. Exc daily driver that is ready to hit the tracks. Have ALL receipts, car serviced only by professionals at VW Specialties & German Performance, asking $4,500...
