Looking for a used/rebuilt 5 speed transmission for my Jetta, or people's thoughts on rebuilding them or if I should just dump the car. The car is a '91 with 113,000 miles.
Dude, with only 113K on the clock, why wouldn't you keep it? Look for a 9A 5spd, it's got a little tighter gears for quicker acceleration, but keeps highway revs reasonable (70= 4K, 60 about 3K or so)
I am looking for an 8v tranny, i have a 91 Gti that I just blew the tranny. I was wondering where ur located and if you still are in possession of the tranny.
