i recently bought an a2 gti and the back window has that cheap purple window tint that we've all seen and laughed at. it doesn't just peel off in one strip either. has anyone had any experience with taking this stuff off? i don't want to damage the defroster lines. help!
i am a professional tinter and the way we take them of is to spray the window with soapy water and then lay seran wrap on the window make sure that the water doesnt dry after you have it all covered then put the car out in the sun and let it steam it off give it about 30 min to an hour depending on the weather more and likely it will peal the tint of without the glue so then you will need some type of glue remover good luck
