I have been toying around with the idea of making the keepsake frames that I made for several family members at their weddings. They are made of a frame, and are matted with whatever cloth I deem suitable, a little batting, and a lot of imagination. I am in the middle of making one right now for my brother. His will be very simple, white satin batting, red and black ribbon roses and ribbons, one big oval for a full-length pic of he and his bride, and right next to it, his wedding invitation. At his wedding reception, he will be presented with it as the very first pictures from his wedding.
I have done a lot of these and each one is different. I can do kids, pets, weddings, anniversaries, etc. The possibilities are endless, and I can make a decent profit on them too. Personalized stuff is so neat and keepsakes are much neater.
I'm thinking of setting up my site, because I have already saved pics of the keepsakes I have already done, and can use them as models. Customized orders can be easily set up with digital media and email, etc. And, thanks to PayPal, I can set up a pretty handy payment system.
What do you think, can I do this? Would it sell? Would it last?
Love,
Tori
