Red and Gojinn were trapped in darkness… sealed into what some may have considered hell, for what felt like an eternity of ripping, tearing on their bodies, torturing their souls as they passed into the energy cloud, unsure of what was to happen to them. Gojinn had given up hope of living in the real world again. He felt like he was on fire, inside and out, and yet freezing to death. He had uncased his wings from his back, and hoped they would help him escape, but even that had no effect. In fact, he could feel his wings constricting and breaking, and being shredded and torn, and ripped and burned, and frozen and cut, and healed all at the same time. He couldn’t speak or breathe, but he couldn’t die either. The pain was agonizing for him. He couldn’t see Red, but he could sense him, and felt that he was in just as much pain as he was, suffering the same fate as he would. They would both die right here, in this realm of nothing. Time had ceased, and life was nothingness. Pain existed, but was counteracted at the same moment. Gojinn didn’t know what to do, until finally it all stopped, and he could breathe again… and that first breathe…

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His eyes shot open, and the pain he felt was unlike anything he’d ever experienced. Even Red could be heard screaming not far away. Gojinn looked around, not moving anything but his eyes. He saw white sand beaches all around him, or at least where he could see, and an ocean, stretching off into the distance. One of his wings was draped over his arm, tattered and destroyed. He could barely breathe now, or move for that matter, but he needed to get up, and he forced himself to. He looked around, and not far off in the distance, golden stone walls stood, tall and sturdy. He saw Red, not too far either, looking like he’d been set on fire while he was in that portal, practically smoking as he stood there in the sun. Gojinn suddenly realized that he too, was smoking somewhat. It must have been the energy cloud’s effect on them. Both men were clearly in a weakened state as it was, and it worried him, that he saw men with swords and spears making their way towards him.

His stomach sank, as they charged for the men…

Red….

Oh fuck….

Yeah….

Both men stepped back, as the men charged, raising up for an assault. Gojinn braced for death, as did Red, but the men stopped, and simply beat them to the sand, and held them there, questioning them in some language neither of them understood!

I don’t know what you’re saying!!

Speak English!

What the fuck do they mean!?

FE-RAOO AENAH OHOOEE?!

What the fuck are you saying!?

Jesus dude, we’re gonna fucking die because these asssholes can’t speak English!

I guess our wish will come true then…

FE-raoh aenah ohooee eay-ha Atlantis?

They sat Gojinn on his knees, and pulled his arms outright, sticking the sword to his throat as they shouted more and more.

Maybe this will be good, after all.

Fuck you!

The man who looked to be the leader of the army or general of sorts, pulled back on his sword, and then stabbed Gojinn in the chest, but not very deep, more so to provoke him into talking to them, and not so angrily.

What the fuck do they want Gojinn?!

OHooee'nah haoo-de funoo-see Atlantis!!

Yeah! Like I understand jibberish?!?!

OOee-de-kueay-teahn!! HAoo-de funoo-see Atlantis!!!!! AH-jaeeaym!!!

Holy shit dude….

You’re hearing it a lot too, huh?

Gojinn and Red looked at each other, and they suddenly realized, they were in the Lost City of Atlantis.
