Netscape has nothing to do with an inability to access your e-mail account...

Having the same thing happen with I.E. proves that something is wrong with your account, itself. Whoever told you that Netscape could "interfere" with I.E. is, well -- very mixed up, as far as I know. Since FSU uses Microsoft Outlook as its Web based e-mail server, it is not surprising that it works better with I.E., another Microsoft product. There are a few features (e.g. the ability to set different flags on messages) that are available only via I.E., but Outlook and your account should still work. Call 7090 and ask the secretary to put you into contact with the e-mail account manager and get your account reset. If that doesn't work, get a new account. Hope this works out. If not, see me during office hours or class time.
