Don't think I can improve on my instructions, but...

To copy an image into an HTML document, you have to:

1. Save the image (a GIF, JPEG, PNG, etc. file) on your system, e.g. hard drive.

2. Insert the image into your document. To do this, in Netscape Composer, (1) place your cursor where you want the image to appear, (2) click the "Image" button on Composer, (3) on the pop-up "Image Properties" dialog box, click the "Choose file..." button, (4) browse to where you saved the image (in step 1), (5) and click the OK button. (You you will have to fill in other stuff on the dialog box, but it is irrelevant.)

The image should appear in your document. Of course, if you move your document or save it at another location, you will need to do the same with the image; they are separate files.

If this doesn't help, come to Pullen 110 tomorrow at 12:00 or 1:00 when I am giving assessments in my COSC100 course. I will be free from about 10 after the hour to 30 past, while students are taking the assessment.
