I am Simesy, co-webmaster of Leamington's North Bank Banter Fansite (address at foot of post). We are currently undertaking the mammoth task of trying to piece together as many historic records in as much detail as possible.

There has to be a starting point somewhere, so we have chosen to research 1983/84 as the first season to tackle, firstly because we have a lot of existing data, and secondly because we were perhaps at our peak.

During that season, Corby Town and AP Leamington (as we then were) met on two occasions. We have some of the information, but some is missing. We wondered if you could help us fill in the blanks, or perhaps copy this forward to someone who may have the required knowledge/records.

Here goes:

1) 26 December 1983, Southern League, AP Leamington 3v1 Corby Town. We know the Leamington scorers (Casey [2], Downes). Does anyone know the Corby scorer and/or the Attendance (even though the match was at The Windmill)?

2) 23 April 1984, Southern League, Corby Town 3v1 AP Leamington. We know the Leamington scorer (Kavanagh). Does anyone know the Corby scorer(s) and/or the Attendance?

There is a possibility that we also met in seasons prior to or just after. We would be extremely grateful for this information too.

Any help would be very much appreciated. There must be other stattos around who have this sort of information - make yourselves known!
