It happens to be near the foot of Doc Martins East, but that doesn't mean you don't know as much about the game as the average Leeds or Spurs fan. The only part of your site that is updated is this forum. The majority of posts are nothing to do with the game. Many of those that are, seem to be derogatory comments about Kettering or Rushden. Those few that are about the team are limited to 'they were brilliant' or 'they were crap'. How about a few specific comments that might start an interesting debate. Such as views on specific players or on tactics. For example, what happened to that young goaly that has not been around since the new manager took over. Injured or gone? If so, so much for a youth policy. I thought the young lad was promising. The current 'experienced' guy seems to have his laces tied to the goal-line like too many. Raises a Questionby EnablerThat's more like it. A reasoned comment. Football is all about opinions. I'm not being critical about the new keeper. He's a lot older and therefore presumably more experienced than the young guy. Keepers reach their peak much later than outfield players. To be as good as he is at his age (early 20s?), his long term prospects must be good. The manager presumably decided he wanted more experience in goal and therefore had no choice in letting, a very good long term prospect go. That leads to another issue. Why can't we put our reserve team in a higher league against the reserves of our other non league opponents. The current situation means the manager has to let the likes of the young goaly go. You can hardly expect lads like that to play in the local league. By having to let young prospects go, it reduces any cover the manager needs now, any long term benefits are lost and with it maybe a future useful transfer fee. from IP address 152.163.201.186 |

Kings Lynn & Stamford have returned and Diamonds are considering it for the future.
