3 games after an appeal. Game sheet screw up. 8-2 over DV turned into a 1-0 loss. They lost 5 guys to AA. Retooling growing pains. Keep an eye in your rear view. They will be there when it counts.

Don't know who GS is but hey he made a mistake on the gamesheet. They played a great game against us. Score was 8-2. Was pretty clean low penalty game of hockey.

I don't know why people always have to knock coaches and teams. We're talking about volunteers and we're talking about 14 year olds. Whether you are a top, mid or bottom team... we are all volunteers. Coaches, Assistants, Trainers and Managers and even the Association staff at this level. Please folks, as long as the persons in these roles are not threatening, cheating or harming your child or skipping out on team funds then please think twice before you write something nasty about them.

Good comments. Parents and spectators don't know the committment and patience these types of people have to put out to try and make a decent program for these kids.

All A teams at the 14 year old level do their best to develop and encourage the boys to develop good work habits and learn teamwork skills. This is a critical age when many kids pack it in I think. Let's not help them go that route. I want my kid in the rink and not the mall.

They still run a great program but definitely have a few spots to fill at both A and AA. Can't argue with their sucess rate or beat the Mastercard Center Olympic rink for home ice!

That has no relevance to your initial, bravado about the program and playing in the MasterCard Centre of Hockey Excellence.
That begs another question, why are the Leaf's there anyway,, Excellence..

Don't think they need to advertise. 55 goals/for does that for them. Doesn't every team advertise in the Sporting News Tryouts Edition? Looking for some more Excellence!!

this team did not have 4 AA-calibre players - somebody's just taking their money (Canucks, Hornets... the usual suspects)

He's not going anywhere, the good players have all left and the good ones from elsewhere are not going to the Mastercard Centre for his tryouts.

So the good turnout was 8 forwards, 5 D, and 2 goalies, whoever showed was signed, and then tonight 2 players were pulled off of the Kipling Avenue bus and signed.
There always is a positive spin at Humber Valley
