I've takin in a cat from a man that passed away. She is pregnant and noone knows how far. today she started bleeding and so I believe today could be the day, but I'm not sure if thats true and if so how much time I have or what to do. I've made a bed in a large box with a lot of old towel on top of a plastic bag, but she doesn't care to go in it. She's bleeding on my furniture, so I put her in the bathroom with the box, food and water and am going in there every thirty minutes or so. Is bleeding a sign of birth or does bleeding occur throughout the pregnancy? Please help!

it can mean she is already in labor and it can also mean she is losing her mucus plug and blood is normal then too. Either way I would say within the next 3 days
