Is it just me? Does anyone else think Lawerence of Arabia was way overrated? What about To Kill A Mockingbird? This should have won-- hands down. Just proves the most deserving don't always garner the recognition or acclaim they deserve.
And as for 1946, I adore The Best Years of Our Lives and It's A Wonderful Life both. Difficult call to make on that one.
