i.e. i dont know whether those 2 cars have been frozen or not before

as it is hard to enter the west depot, i only can see the cars partly

You two visit west depot regularly? It seems that you two quite familiarize with the tram car status~! How many days you will count the number of cars in depot once usually~? It is interesting to taking tram car photos from depot.

Actually I visit west depot only occassionally...as I live far away from there(though still on Hong Kong side).
It was already early July/late June when I visited it last time, and I just observed from outside.
I just know which trams are temporarily not in service by everyday observation of the trams running on the streets.

Except from taking photos on street and counting the cars, how would you enhance your tram knowledge~? Do you know anyone work in tramway or studying rolling stock~? I only can learn about HKT from books, but those in chinese are not very precise... Any other way you could suggest~?

i live nearby and visit west depot about 3 days a week, observed from outside as it is hard or can say impossible to enter so i dont know the exact repairing work are doing on the trams, especially those trams inside the yard.
with the installation of wires on the walls and closed-circuit TV, it is hard to take photos.
i depend on my memories instead of spending long time observation on streets as i do not have time.
