I hope someone can help. I just bought a 100cc kt100 and found out some of the threads on the clutch side are slightly damaged and i just broke my caliperd and my mic is to big to check the size of the shaft so i can use a die to fix it.i tried putting the starter nut on but it doesnt quite go so im not going to force it.just wondered if any body knew what size it is? i would greatly appreciate it!

For gas time it at 26 deg. for alky try 28deg. If you use a wheel there is a good chance for error. I trigged out a chart for use with a dial indicator which is far more acurate. From memory I think 28 deg works out to be .124 piston travel down from tdc.
I think 26 is .109" Stay away from maverick spark.
Hope this helps.
yes it is possible to put 2 motors on a go kart but i wouldent recomend it mainly because of all the belts and welding. i would reccomend a strong 5 hp rapyor or something simmalar, go with something old and make it fast. hope i could help.

Hey all.... I know this is primarily a kart forum.... but if anyone's interested, I set up a mini chopper forum at http://www.hardcoreminichoppers.com/forum. Please take some time to stop by and lend some info, support, help or just some chatter. Everyone's welcome. Pass this along to your buddies (or your sister!) We need to make this the largest mini chopper forum around!!
ok, so im just going to buy a used go kart and fix it up. i have it, ive gotten bigger tires, new spark plug, new muffler(straight pipe), and a few others. the only thing i need/want to do is change the gear ratio. i dont know what gear ratio is best. i am mainly using it off road, flat. no big hills or anything, and a little on road, not that much. i want a good top speed. no more than 40-45, but no less than 30-35, and a good acceleration, but not to the point im spinning out, just give me a little kick..any pointers?!?! thanks..
