She's talking up a storm and even with the dislocated hip is walking up to 10 feet. It's amazing that she's even able to walk. I am not looking forward to the casting and surgery, but keep telling myself that "at least it is fixable." There are so many things out there that aren't, if you KWIM. I'll add you to the e-mail list.
As for the food issues, my biggest problem is that food is so available. I mean, everywhere I drive, I go by McD's or other fast food places, but by far the worst is Dairy Queen. There's one right near Rebecca's pre-school and they have the BEST blizzards, especially the Georgia Mud Fudge (nuts, chocolate and brownie pieces. .. YUM!) I think it's awful that our society has become an "eat on the run/the cheaper the better" society rather than a sit down and enjoy the food/taste like in Europe. Also, why does a salad cost like $4 or $5, but a double cheeseburger is only $1. Why does healthy food have to be so danged expensive?
Anyways, I'll get off my soapbox now.
