Personally, I'm not a big fan. Strangely enough, though, this year I am looking forward to working on a few "self-improvement" projects. I feel energized to start watching my weight again and taking better care of the house. Both the house and I could stand to lose a boatload of clutter
CHristmas has been good for the house - things are much nicer around here since we had to clean it all up for a party, and I've been careful not to let it get all messed-up again this week. There are still a lot of hot spots that we didn't get to clean up and I plan to start tackling them in January when my 'week off' is over
Christmas has NOT been so good for my body, LOL! I decided to stop keeping my food diary - it wasn't doing me any good anyway. All it really did was tell me that I was exceeding my daily points by 50% or so every DAY. Ick. Once New Years Eve is over, I am going to start up again. (The only thing I look forward to on NYE is the finger food buffet I whip up to munch on all night, and I don't intend to give that up, LOL!). In January when I re-start my diary, I plan to use it as it's intended to be used - to keep myself from overdoing it. Wish me luck!
So, how about the rest of you? Any feelings that this is a "new beginning" dawning?
