I'm asking for the Happening family to pray, and pray hard for my family. We've been faced with the tragedies of two deaths since August. First, My cousin Tammie passed away in November of breast cancer. And also for my Aunt Linda and her family. Her granddaughter, Lauren, died in August. She was seven years old. She was profoundly retarded and passed away in her sleep the night after her seventh birthday party. Her parents, Shawn and Rachel found out they were pregnant a couple of weeks before Christmas, but when Rachel went to the doctor last Friday, she found out that she lost her baby. Also, Uncle Jimmy (Shawn's father, and Aunt Linda's husband) was diagnosed with cancer the week after Lauren's funeral. His body was infested with cancer, and he was given a year to live. Today, he had surgery because there was a clog in his intestines. It's more cancer and his current prognosis is just a few short weeks. Aunt Linda and Uncle Jimmy were childhood sweethearts, and it's going to be extremely difficult for her. They also have another son, Shane. Shane and his wife Kami just had a baby boy, and they also have an older son, Michael. Please keep all of these people in your prayers. Ask for strength when times get tough, and for the Lord to show mercy on Uncle Jimmy so he doesn't suffer too much. They would be much appreciated!
